It really is that simple. I get it, I’ve been there. I’ve lived the wildly, busy life without intention. I ran out of energy – fast – every time.
And I couldn’t figure out why.
My name is Lindsey Makitalo. I’m a Relaxation Yoga Teacher.
I started practicing yoga & meditation around the year 2001 at a very young age. I first taught in 2011 for free every Saturday morning at 6 am in a park. I started up again under my own business with classes and private students in 2018. I found my own inner teacher through my own practice of yoga & meditation and am now a Relaxation Yoga Teacher RYT200.
Even though I had been practicing most of my life, I still felt this uncontrollable urge to constantly do more and fill space. I suffered from addiction, depression and anxiety.
It wasn’t until I lost my job and was forced to slow down that I realized the true power of rest and relaxation. It showed me how much happier it can make us. When we train our minds and bodies to really rest, we sleep better which leads to having more energy, making better choices and living life how WE want to live it.
I now teach my students something that has been born from my own practice and teachings.
It no longer works to try to be who other people tell us to be or who we think we should be.
There’s a new way to live.
It’s time to put YOU first.
And when you do?
Everything will change.

They take the initiative and put themselves first. Finally!

There is no end to the to do list. Tasks are like mosquitos. You swat 100 and there are 1,000 buzzing and headed your way. I know you know what I mean. It’s so easy to just “do one more thing” and keep pushing yourself further back on the to do list. It’s time to put an end to that and make time now. You’ve got this.
